Shabby White Pumpkins

Here is a great way to shabbify your halloween pumpkins!

I found these at White's Farm - farmer's and flea market, and decided to spray paint them white and add pink accents. I did not prime them first, but I would suggest doing just that. They took a few coats of spray paint to cover them. Then add accents of pink and green for the stems. Still spooky, but in a cottagy pumpkin way!

Oh, thanks so much for the tip on priming first. I had seen pumpkins painted white in a magazine (no idea which one now) and thought I would try that. Wasn't sure what to paint with...was just going to spray paint. Now that you suggest priming first I'm going to definitely give it a try. These look fantastic by the way!!
